Whether you're a seasoned industry professional or a passionate home barista, our Latte Art Workshop offers an accessible, engaging, and practical learning experience designed to elevate your skills hosted by our two trainers Danny & Adam who have over 18 years of combined experience of making coffee.
This workshop, located at our roastery space in Enterprise Park, Glasgow combines in-depth theory with hands-on practice to help you confidently create silky smooth microfoam and pour stunning latte art designs like hearts and tulips. Whether you're making coffee at home or in a cafe, this workshop will set you on the path to mastering the basics. Consistency is the aim of the game!
Duration: 2 hours
What We’ll Cover
The workshop is tailored to meet the unique needs of each participant. Generally, we will explore the basics:
- Milk Pitchers: Identifying the features of good and bad pitchers and how they impact your pour.
- Cups: The role of cup size, shape, and design in latte art.

Milk Steaming Technique:
- Proper positioning for steaming milk.
- How to aerate and integrate foam effectively.
- Polishing and tempering milk to achieve the perfect texture.

The Three Latte Art Pillars: Understanding the key principles for consistent pours
- Spout Proximity
- Flow Rate
- Concretisation
- Pouring Techniques: Learn how to wrap, stack, and ripple milk for artistic designs.

Basic Designs: Master foundational patterns, including:
- Heart
- Tulip
- Rosetta
- Latte Art Analysis: Develop the ability to analyse and grade latte art, even at competition standards.
